A Mission Born From Personal Experience
Han and Murad’s story starts with a shared experience many of us can relate to—the struggle of dressing for success on a tight budget. Growing up in low-income households, both founders faced the challenge of obtaining professional attire that matched their aspirations. After moving to the U.S. for their studies, they saw that the problem extended to many students and young professionals across the country, especially those in higher education. This sparked an idea: what if they could offer students and early-career individuals access to premium professional attire at affordable prices? And so, BizBoyz was born.
“We realized that young professionals didn’t have easy access to high-quality professional clothing,” says Murad. “We wanted to change that and help others level up their careers with confidence.”
Changing the Game for Professional Apparel
While many fashion brands focus on bridal wear or cater primarily to individual consumers, BizBoyz takes a different route. Their unique business model focuses on forming partnerships with colleges, universities, and businesses to provide students, faculty, and staff with access to tailored, premium professional clothing at competitive prices. It's an innovative approach that’s already making waves in the industry.
Building a Business While Juggling Full-Time Jobs
Running a business while working full-time? Han and Murad are doing just that—and loving every minute of it. Their days are packed with balancing their current jobs with managing BizBoyz and all the exciting projects that come with it.
“We’re in the process of launching a major website update that will improve our user experience and introduce new suppliers,” shares Han. “We’re also planning some amazing events for 2025 that will help us connect with the local community.”
Overcoming Challenges and Celebrating Successes
Like any entrepreneurial journey, BizBoyz has faced its share of challenges—especially when it comes to inventory management and fulfilling custom sizing requests. However, their creative approach to logistics has allowed them to overcome these hurdles. By developing a strong supply chain and offering custom tailoring, BizBoyz can now offer a nearly endless range of options for their customers.
Their biggest success so far? Establishing valuable partnerships with multiple educational institutions and businesses—proof that their mission is resonating with others.
Why Alloy 26?
As a Pittsburgh-based company, Han and Murad were eager to make a positive impact locally. When they discovered the coworking fellowship at Alloy 26, it felt like the perfect opportunity to expand their network and connect with like-minded individuals.
“We’re excited to meet other entrepreneurs and community members here at Alloy 26,” says Murad. “The connections and collaborations that come from this space will help amplify our positive influence in Pittsburgh.”
Looking Ahead: Big Goals and Bold Visions
In the next 6-12 months, BizBoyz is focused on growing its reach even further. They aim to establish 40 new partnerships by the end of October 2025. But that’s just the beginning. Over the next five years, they envision BizBoyz becoming a nationwide force, with over 1,000 partnerships and 5,000 suits sold every month—before preparing for an IPO on the NYSE.
“It's not a matter of if but when,” says Han. “We’re on a journey, and we’re determined to make it happen.”
Advice for Future Entrepreneurs
When it comes to starting a business, Han and Murad have one crucial piece of advice: Just start. They believe that too many entrepreneurs get stuck in the planning stages and never take the leap.
“Don’t wait until everything is perfect,” says Murad. “Start small and learn as you go. The most important thing is to begin.”
A Call to Action: Let’s Work Together
BizBoyz is all about collaboration, and they’re eager to build even more relationships within the Alloy 26 community. Whether it’s connecting with local universities or collaborating with other entrepreneurs, they’re ready to make an impact and help others succeed.
“We believe in the power of this community,” says Han. “Let’s work together to make a difference.”
We’re excited to have BizBoyz as part of the Alloy 26 fellowship program and can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll have on Pittsburgh and beyond. Stay tuned for more updates as they continue to expand, grow, and inspire others to dress for success—and reach for the stars!
