This week will feature Steve Radick, an original Pittsburgher, and the VP Director of PR at Brunner, one of the top independent agencies in the nation and is currently the president of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Recently, he was behind the PR Efforts of the 2017 84 Lumber Super Bowl Commercial, “The Journey Begins”, which was ranked the #1 Super Bowl Commercial by AdWeek. Before joining Brunner in 2014, Steve had led the Public Relations team at Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago, and prior to that, he created and led the social media strategy for Booz Allen Hamilton. Over the course of his work, Steve has worked for an assortment of clients including 84 Lumber, Huffy, Compact Power Equipment Rental, Maui Jim, Porsche, and Heinz.
Steve has been the author of the blog “Social Media Strategery” for the past nine years. In addition, his writing has appeared in GovLoop, PRWeek, PRDaily, and Entrepreneur Magazine. His writing has also been included in books such as THINK Public Relations as well as Global Content Marketing. Steve has also spoken at many events in the past sponsored by PRSA and the International Association of Business Communication (IABC) as well as others.
Outside of work, Steve is a die-hard Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan and has three daughters.
